Career Transition Advisory

Who this engagement is for

This flagship consultation is for people who have already built a substantial working life and now face a genuine transition: a plant closure, a mutual parting, a long-planned exit, or a return after caring or health-related leave. You may know you need to move and still feel unclear about which moves are realistic in the German labour market at your age and level of experience.

What is included

An intake session that documents constraints, finances, and non-negotiables
A written options map covering role types, industries, and working arrangements worth pursuing
Revision of your Lebenslauf and covering letters for German application practice
Two rehearsal sessions for interviews and difficult conversations with former or future employers
A close-out memo with acceptance criteria and a follow-up cadence for the next 90 days

What is not included

We do not submit applications for you, negotiate employment contracts as legal counsel, or guarantee a placement. Where a lawyer or tax advisor is needed (for example, Abfindung structure), we help you prepare questions — we do not replace those professionals.

How it is delivered

Sessions last 75–90 minutes. Between meetings you receive short written homework so time is spent on decisions, not gathering facts. Most clients complete the core work in four sessions; complex industry shifts or concurrent notice-period pressures often need five or six.

Preparation

Bring your current Lebenslauf, any termination or change-of-role letters, and a rough note of monthly income needs. If German is not your strongest language for interviews, tell us in advance so we can plan language support realistically.
